It feels good to be home and on the court again. I've been missing these North Carolina green fields, and humid atmosphere. Playing a little one on one with my sister (she's a lot better than I am).

Speeding some quality time with my bro today, while on my lunch break. My break generally consist of me doing something with my camera, or eating Klondike bars from the bodega. Rocking my new hair bleach, and cut today (no more hats for awhile). I'm currently in the process of dying my hair grey, but it's going to take some (if I want to keep my hair healthy).
I stemmed inspiration from the 90's movies Blade, which was my favorite as a child. Not a great movie for children to watch by the way lol. Have a great day you guys :)

Gray has become one of my favorite colors to wear. I'm so in love with the gray, that I'm actually going to dye my hair gray today!!!! It's so chic, and minimal. Sporting these new ash gray trouser I got from the flea market American Apparel. One leg was a different length, so I had to even the hem out by cutting it. Still looks great, frayed edges and new balances.
Working on my prints, and retro ideas.
Taking advantage of this 70 degree weather with this blue look. I love the showing off my legs, and how twiggy they are. Spending my day browning through Soho, and window shopping. I can only afford thrift or American Apparel (broke college graduate).

A look from this past weekend when it was sunny out. Doing a little thrift shopping in Brooklyn. I was in desperate need of some new vintage kicks, so Ltrain Vintage is was. Sporting my Vans with this monochromatic color palette. I found these dope vintage Doc Martins, but unfortunately they had no laces.

On the street...downtown Manhattan, I spotted these two lovers. Kim and Kanye before the fame, before North West lol.
Style stalking the streets of Williamsburg in search of dope individuals. I spotted this look and insistently started stalking. Following close behind and running ahead when needed, I got the shots. There's nothing not to love about this look. The stripes remind me of my favorite childhood show, Beetlejuice!
Now that fashion week is over, I've been working on my modeling portfolio. I've been collaboration with some pretty dope photographers. This was my very first nude shoot, and it wasn't bad. I was extremely nervous of being completely naked in front of a stranger. Nevertheless, I grew some balls, stripped down, and I let it all hang out lol. The art of a man's body was the focus of this shoot.
I wasn't too sure about the white powder, but it creates an awesome contrast with my skin.
What do you guys think?

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending my very first HBA fashion show. It was both exhilrating and nerve racking all at the same time. The show started fashionablely late as all shows do, but it was well worth the wait. Before the shows began I snuck backstage to see the models and the preparation before the show. Interesting things go on behind the curtains.
This was definitely a life changing moment for me. Simply because of the inspirating talks I had with some of the models. This show had inspried me to start my model carrer. Soon enough I'll be walking in a HBA fashion show. Just you wait, and see.
I had the awesome oppertuniy of being featured on Yetclothes.com
It was freezing cold out, and I mean freezing. Nevertheless, I manned up and owned this shoot. I even did my outfit changes outside. Once the shoot was completed my hands, and feet were both frozen. On the bright side of things, I got some free gear from the company. Free clothes are also a plus!

Inspired by the movie "Leon: The Professional."
Bowler hat, check! Ozzy shades, check! Trench coat, check! Deadly weapon, of course I stay strapped (my camera). Playing with my new toy in alleyways. I received this vintage film camera from my roommate about a month ago. She literally didn't know what it was, so she gave it to me. After purchasing the film for it, I went on a rampage taking photos of everything. I can't wait to get to get these develop.

It's about that time; time to revamp my portfolio. I started this shoot with no idea of what I wanted, or the direction I wanted to go. My first couple of frames were horrible, and I wasn't feeling it. But then the model (Rebecca) found this vintage apron and it created the theme for the entire shoot. I played around a lot with the ios level, and exposure. Some of the photos are more exposed than others, adding a vintage / 50s polaroid look.
Thanks a lot Rebecca for being my beautiful muse.
I prayed for a snowy birthday, and God sent me a snowstorm. At least it's not rain; eww. Went out yesterday in search of a new winter coat. I practically stole this one, for only 10 freaking buck! I can't believe that a London Fog trench would be sold for this low; but I'm not complaining. I thought it would be cool to print "Aquarius" onto this sweater. And yes I'm an Aquarius.
Spending this birthday snowed in with some hot chocolate, and Netflix.
Another year, another blessing. Enjoy the snow you guys :)

Words can't describe how I feel right now, but I'll try. That feeling you get when you're opening a gift, and expecting the best (excitement). That's sort of how I felt today when I met my fav fashion blogger, Luanna Perez. This women is my entire inspiration, from my style to my career. In 2010 (my high school days) I came across her lookbook profile. I instantly fell in love with her style and confidence to wear whatever she feels. I drew inspiration from her lookbook and began to push the envelope with my style. She's actually one of the three reasons why I moved to NYC. Now I can cross "meet Luanna" off my list.
